Green Business Network is a Scotland wide community of businesses, academics and graduates who are committed to improving and demonstrating their green credentials, whilst working together towards a low-carbon economy.

With membership throughout Scotland, Green Business Network also acts as the logical network for solution providers looking to promote their products/services. You as an individual can take advantage of this. Members also have access to a wealth of environmental information, advice and support through events, training, discounts, updates and more. Subscriptions costs are deliberately kept low to provide support for as many businesses and individuals as possible in efforts to reduce their environmental impact and increase their understanding of environmental issues.

Meet the Scottish Government’s ambitious Climate Change Act targets by introducing a step by step sustainable approach to implementing significant behavioural change and improved green business practices.
Step one for 2010
For 2010 we are supporting the national 10:10 campaign by assisting companies to reduce their carbon footprint by 10%. We aim to do this by raising awareness and measuring Members’ current footprints followed by a simple but effective action plan.

Associate Membership
Associate Membership gives you the opportunity to access business networks and green jobs across Scotland. It is a unique way you as an individual can access a support package for and demonstrate your commitment to environmental issues and demonstrate your environmental standing.
As part of the Green Business Network, the Associate Membership rate is available for students, graduates (up to one year after graduation from a full time course) and unemployed.
We offer a number of services to help you to:
• Increase you employability
• Get you ‘better connected’ with environmental sector organisations
• keep up-to-date with environmental legislation and news
• develop your environmental knowledge
• prove your commitment to environmental initiatives
• share good practice with like-minded organisations and individuals
