A Better Way to Work is a travel choice project hosted by the Bike Station, Edinburgh’s cycling charity, with the aim to help Edinburgh workers change their commuting habits. By tailoring our free services, which include cycle training, travel planning advice and a loan bike scheme, to the needs and requirements of each business, we can help encourage employees to make travel choices that are healthier, wealthier and better for the environment.
The Bike Station is holding an Open Doors event on the 26th August for businesses to learn about how they can use A better way to work services in their workplace. The afternoon event from 2pm to 5pm will include a tour of the Bike Station, a short cycle ride into the Meadows (optional) and a chance to find out how we can tailor our services to your business.

Following on the very successful Edinburgh Workplace Cycle Challenge, we're hosting the Edinburgh Friends and Family Cycle Challenge from the 12th July to the 1st August. All people have to do is register and then log their trips at www.edinburghcyclechallenge.org.uk to win prizes including cinema tickets, free haircuts and a bike!
